Bellemere wakes up in a dress, for one thing. For another, she's leaned up against a tree on the outskirts of town, bleary and tired and she's thinking injured—her hypothesis is correct when she goes to move and her legs buckle: instead of her arm catching her, it gives out from the pain coursing up and down it. It's only then she realizes, lying there, that her arm is eerily injured like it had before she died.
Not a coincidence, she's guessing.
The rest of her isn't exactly in the best shape either; needle marks and abandoned cuts from struggling back and forth from her cell...
Not important. She pats the area for her journal, catching it with her good hand. When she speaks, she strengthens her voice as best she can. No reason to give into the drugs making her legs feel heavy.]
[Voice]
Sorry I was gone—but I'm on my way back now. I'll be home in no time.
[She shifts, grunting as she goes to walk.]
It's been a good amount of time, right? Don't tell me there were any crappy shifts since then...
[She forces herself to her feet, gritting her teeth, pissed off more than anything. There's a figure moving from the forest through town, toward the Strawhat house, bloody and fueled by stubbornness, if anything. She just. Wants a smoke. And a place to lay, maybe something for this arm dangling uselessly at her side.]
[[ooc: breaking time isn't too big a deal! Replies might be a bit slow at first XD]]

She can definitely do this. This is nothing.]

[Her voice is soft. It feels strange, doing this for Bellemere. But at least she's old enough that this time, she can help. Nami reaches down to bury her hands in Biri's feathers, locked around Bellemere, holding on.]
Gently, Biri.
[And they're off. And careful or no, that's probably a pretty dizzying experience.]

S'not like she's lost a lot of blood or something...]

It's really only a minute or so before they land on the roof of house #6.]

[As they land, his eyes flick Bellemere; that arm in particular. Ouch. And she's not moving very much. His gaze slides to Nami as he steps forward to meet them.]
Has she been unconscious for long?
no subject
[Biri doesn't actually need to be told, settling low on the roof with a mournful little sound, allowing Nami to just stand and step away from him with her arms hooked under Bellemere's.]
...thanks, Chopper. What can I do?

[With that, it's time to begin their descent down the stairs. Chopper takes it slow, keeping his downward gait steady; the weight on his back makes things a little more difficult than expected, but not overly so. He's more distracted by the scent of blood on Bellemere, honestly - and with Nami keeping her steady, it shouldn't take them long to get to the second floor.]

Chopper. Have you been in touch with Nala since you've come back?
no subject
[Chopper wastes no time in steering towards the infirmary as soon as they hit the second floor. Then something occurs to him, and his gaze flicks over to Nami.] How's yours coming along?

Could you take care of her superficial wounds, please?
no subject
Once she's satisfied they're clean, she'll wrap them; she could deal with them with Nala, but she'd rather see how much the more serious injuries will drain her first.]

[It's...ugly. Swollen and bruised - at a glance Chopper can tell it's broken, but as to what extent he isn't certain. If only he had some of the more advanced equipment, like in the Battledome - the Malnosso occasionally grant requests like that, don't they? - but for now, they can't risk delaying treatment any longer, and Chopper goes about it the old-fashioned way: feeling for it.]
[...]
[...shit.]
The swelling is severe. [And making it difficult to get a read. More difficult than it should be for a simple break.] We'll need to operate. Nami, get my reduction instruments.
[He hasn't figured out how to integrate them with healing magic yet - but he's working on it.]

I can. I've had a lot of practice. Just...tell me where.
no subject
Okay. Here's how we'll do it: I'll perform standard reduction procedures...but instead of using screws to hold the fractures together, we'll be using healing magic. We'll need to take it one step at a time to avoid healing anything before it's set in place.
The use of screws may also be temporarily needed to alleviate pressure from other areas, so be aware of that as well. We won't know exactly what the damage is until the procedure begins, but as long as we take it slow, there shouldn't be any problems.
[He pauses to send a glance towards his crewmate.] She'll be okay, Nami.

[When the wound is opened, the damage is what Chopper feared - fragmented bones, just barely held in approximate position by torn, bleeding flesh. But they're large and that's good. He'll do a sweep for shards during the procedure, but with the immediate structure largely intact, it's by no means unsalvageable.]
[First: re-aligning the intact sections of the radius and ulna. Reduce stress at the joint; get a sturdy base to attach to. Chopper's forceps are at the forefront of the task, carefully easing the skewed bones into position. He checks his work.]
Healing magic at the break.
no subject
Her work takes maybe twenty seconds, and she darts a diffident look at Chopper when she's done.]
no subject
[When she's finished, Chopper eases the pressure from the break slowly, then moves to the next fracture. Same procedure: re-align, apply pressure, healing magic. No weak spots that need added support yet. Everything fitting together so far. Just need to make sure the magic holds out.]
[About halfway through, the bone structure is beginning to look solid again; Chopper begins cleaning up the internal hemorrhaging where they've already finished, his own magic sealing the wounds cleanly. Still no bone shards. He spares a look towards Nami as he pieces together the next fracture.]
Almost done. How's your magic holding up?
